The Tallest Condo building in Canada is coming soon to Niagara. Niagara Falls city council has approved amendments to its official plan and zoning bylaw to permit the development of what’s being described as the “tallest residential condo building in Canada.” At 77 storeys, the project, proposed by Fudzi International Group (Pawel Fugiel), calls for 962 residential dwelling units and 516 square metres of floor at the corner of Robinson Street and Allendale Avenue. The new skyscraper currently in the works for Southern Ontario is slated to become the tallest condo building in the entire country if developers manage to make it happen as planned.
The tallest buildings in Canada right now are all in Toronto. The tallest by floor count is the Aura building at 388 Yonge St. and One Bloor. Niagara 77 will come in third once completed, bumping First Canadian Place with its 72 floors out of the bronze position. The striking 77-storey, 224 metre-high tower will house a staggering 962 residential units and would become the loftiest building in its city if completed fast enough, reshaping the skyline as we know it and providing stunning 360 degree views of the area. The building will sit at the corner of Robinson St. and Allandale Ave. in the Fallsview area of the city. The area is now largely underdeveloped home mostly to empty lots and a few houses. Some however will be home to the third tallest building in Canada (by the number of floors) and the tallest condo building in the country
